What happens when STEM meets the ARTS?Something pretty exciting!! 🌟
At Bridge to Broadway Academy, we wanted to create something special for our homeschool community — a place where kids can learn, move, create, perform, problem-solve, and make new friends all in one morning.
So we created STEM MEETS THE STAGE!
Beginning Monday, October 19, students will be divided into age groups and rotate through three exciting hours of hands-on learning every Monday!
🤸 HOUR 1 — GYMNASTICS & KINETIC MOTIONMove your body and discover the science behind it!
Students will work on tumbling, balance, coordination, flexibility, strength, and body awareness while exploring movement and kinetic motion.
And YES — they’ll be training on our professional sprung floor, which provides shock absorption and helps create a safer, more supportive environment for gymnastics and movement training. 💪
🎭 HOUR 2 — VOICE & ACTING CENTER STAGEFind your voice and step into the spotlight!
Students will explore vocal production, projection, acting, theater games, character development, body language, scene work, and creative expression.
The goal isn’t just performing — it’s helping kids become more confident communicating, expressing ideas, working together, and using their imaginations! 🎤✨
⚙️ HOUR 3 — STEM & ORIGINAL ENGINEERINGNow it’s time to THINK, BUILD, TEST…and sometimes figure out why it didn’t work! 😆
Students will explore concepts such as simple machines, levers, pulleys, gears, inclined planes, physics, and mechanical engineering through hands-on challenges.
Rather than simply following instructions, we want our students to think critically, experiment, troubleshoot, and create their own solutions.
Because sometimes the best learning happens when you have to try again! 🧠⚙️
🥪🎲 OPTIONAL LUNCH & PLAY HOUR — 12:00–1:00 PM
Want to stay a little longer?
Bring a packed lunch and hang out with us! Kids can eat together, play board games, build with LEGOs, socialize, relax, and make new friends.
No lesson. No pressure. Just time to connect, play, and enjoy being together. ❤️
